Faye Osman is a Borneo-based stock and fine art photographer, specializing in nature, and travel imagery. Her goal is to produce images that showcase the ethereal beauty of Borneo Island, and at the same time promote an appreciation towards mother nature and diverse human cultures.
Faye's interest in photography came to her as an extension of her affinity towards visual arts.
Contrary to her interests, she originated from a career that was worlds apart from her love of art and images. She graduated with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Years of working as an engineer in the corporate world followed. However, she soon realized she yearned to do something different from her chosen profession.
When the opportunity came to relocate to Borneo, she traded her cubicle-bound job with a camera for a chance to explore new places and meet new people.
